You know we’re all ‘bout new sh*t at GP. We want what’s comin’ next and we want it now. But we also froth on the wicked style that’s come before us. What can we say? We want it all.
We’re always ready to throw it up to the icons of past generations, but are we a lookin’ back on the past with rose coloured shades. We take another clear look at legends of the game to see how the actually hold up.
He was the king of streetstyle in the 50s n’ 60s and it ain’t look like much changed. White denim + a bomber jacket is god damn timeless.
There ain’t a fashion designer on earth who doesn’t throw up praise hands for Ms. Birkin. The full flare ain’t our vibe right now, but loose leg denim and a stripe combo is A1 forever.
Um… we’ll give you one point for the double denim, Lem, and another for the zero f*cks you clearly give.
Drew can do no wrong. Erry decade she seems to lead the way, especially when it comes to denim. We’re rockin’ rolled anti fit denim with cropped tees right now. Drew passes with flying colours.
Marvin always looked like boss, while also lookin’ like he took no thought into his kit at all. Simple style gets big wins here. Frothin’ on the rolled denim fit back with boots and a cold weather cap. The dog is optional (we’ll take it).
Overalls: Yay. Double wide parachute size: Nah.
We gotta give props to the huge pops of colour and the all denim errything vibe, but you can leave those mega baggy silhouettes back at whatever VMA Award green room Left Eye is about to burn down.
We think we’re pretty much on the money. You can be too if you hit the links below and cop a bunch of new fits with some legendary inspo.
